Step 1: Website Design
A
Web Solutions Omaha web designer will work with you to create a custom, overall
design for your website tailored to your specific needs.
During
the initial design consultation, our web designer will discuss the design of
your site with you. See
Website Design Considerations & Templates or browse
Website Templates
After
the initial design consultation, our web designer will put together a
storyboard (screen shot of what an example page on your website will look like)
for your review, and will work with you on changes. Once the design is
approved, we will set up a development website with the approved design in
WebFrame, our content management system, so that it's ready for page content.
Step 2: Adding Page Content and
Training Session
Your
website will be set up on our development server where we will work with you to
add web pages and initial content to your website.
If
you would like to add content to your own pages, we will schedule a training
session to teach you how to use WebFrame (plus any of our other products you
have purchased, such as an eCommerce catalog or bulk email tool). After the
training session, you will be prepared to set up web pages and add content on
the development website. 24/7 access to our online help site is provided,
as well as phone and email technical support,
to assist you along the way.
If
you would like to have us add content to your website, we will work with you to
create the initial web pages and content set up on the development website. We
can reuse content from your existing website and/or upload content and images
you provide to us. A training session will follow to teach you how to use
WebFrame (plus any other products you have purchased), so you are prepared to
make updates to your website going forward.
Step 3: Going Live with Your New
Website
Once
you are ready for the development website to go live, we will move the website
to one of our public servers. After necessary changes are made in your domain
name(s) and DNS accounts, then your new website will be visible to visitors
on the World Wide Web!
