Project Details:

Farmers National Company had a requirement to develop an online farm real estate site.  Most real estate websites are residential in nature and simply do not meet the needs of Farm and Land Sales.  Web Solutions Omaha developed a custom Farm Real Estate website for Farmers National that incorporated the items necessary to provide information on selling a farm.  Items such as crop yield, water availability, crop history, and more is now available online through the Farmers National website.

 

Farmers National also wanted to provide their customers the ability to list their properties on the site and take bids for share cropping the land.  This is a powerful tool for the absentee landowner looking to maximize the revenue potential of his or her property.  We also developed the Cash Rent system to the Farmers National specification.  Bids are taken online via a secure credit card gateway.  Our security package allows landowners to review existing bids and accept bids as necessary.

 

To provide the customers of Farmers National with up-to-the-minute agricultural news Web Solutions Omaha integrated a news feed from the Doane Agricultural Report directly into the Farmers National Web Site.  We receive the news and information as required from the Doane Agricultural Report and display the information directly into the home page of the site.

 

Farmers National agents and administrative staff, use our editable technologies to maintain the content of the entire site.  This reduces the overall cost of ownership of a large-scale web site.  Since the content on the site can be changed as required with minimal effort and minimal training content can (and does) change regularly.
